Norlux Team presented its research at the Annual Meeting of the European Association of Neuro-Oncology (EANO)

A strong representation of the NorLux Neuro-Oncology Laboratory (Department of Oncology) was present at the 12th annual meeting of the European Association of Neuro-Oncology that was held in Mannheim, Germany, from 12th to 16th October 2016.

The research unit presented five posters and gave three talks. From these, there were two invited plenary lectures held by Prof Simone Niclou, one on cancer stem cells in glioblastoma and one on metabolic aberrations in gliomas caused by mutations in isocitrate dehydrogenase genes.

Dr Sabrina Fritah, postdoctoral researcher, was selected to give a short presentation during one of the oral sessions on the role of regularly RNAs in the response to chemotherapy in glioblastoma.
